Monsters Inc. - I Have a Constant Reminder of this Movie!

I often think of this movie, not because I have seen it so much, but because I know someone with the last name Gladowski, that I always tease and call this person Wazowski! The characters in this movie are so creative!

The underlying message of learning to accept people and not be afraid of difference is a great thing to share with children. After watching the movie, not only did my little boy realize that "monsters are friendly", but he also learned that we might be scared of people because of things we have heard about them, or the way they look, but if we take the time to get to know them, they might become our friend!

I love Mike, representing that friend we all have that likes the limelight, whose sarcasm tries to cover their pessimistic attitude. He made me laugh through the whole thing.

The simple idea of power made by screams and laughs is brilliant! What a fun concept! Too bad we can't really make it work!

Monsters Inc. is sure to be a family favorite for years. It does a great job of taking a common fear and turning it into something fun for the whole family.
