The Toy Story 12" Talking Buzz Lightyear comes with its own certificate of authenticity because of how accurately this toy reflects the character, such as the pop-out wings and communication unit on the arm. This fantastic Toy Story action figure has a light up laser button with sound effects as well as a level sensor, which knows when Buzz is in a horizontal flying position or standing vertically. Buzz will respond with several phrases to your command, with a total of 65 famous Buzz sayings.

This Talking Buzz Lightyear has gotten a majority of 5-star reviews, but averages out to a 4½-star average. What I really love about this Toy Story action figure is that not only is Buzz himself accurate, but the box he comes in is also film accurate. Remember in the first Toy Story that his box looked like his downed space rocket? This one does, too, and I think that is a really nice touch to complete the package.

Even more exciting is that the green accents on his body glow in the dark just like in the movie. WOW! All the details on this action figure are highly detailed, neat and clean. You will be extremely pleased at the quality of this toy - I certainly am.

This Buzz Lightyear toy is also on the higher-end, but not as much as the collector's figure above. This Buzz also stands at 12 inches and is fully articulated for lots of different poses. A button on his wings activates a karate chop action and the arm laser button makes light and sound effects. However, do not confuse this toy with the Karate Action Buzz - that one is far cheaper and it ONLY does a karate chop, has no wings and no other features. It also got low ratings from very disappointed customers.

Want lots of action? The Toy Story 3 Blast-Off Buzz Lightyear has some awesome features that kids are going to LOVE. For one, this Buzz uses Tim Allen's voice, so it really is Buzz Lightyear talking and he has 30 sayings. He also has wings that pop out, an LED light laser, retractable helmet, and poseable head and arms. Blast-Off Buzz is recommended for children ages 4 and up.
