Disney Pixar Cars PuzzleBrain development in children happens quickly. Disney Pixar Cars puzzles are fun for kids to assemble and it makes all those little connections fire off in the brain, developing their focus and concentration. There are a variety of puzzles on the market for different age levels. Preschoolers need few pieces that are big and easy to hold in their hands. As they get older, children want the challenge of more pieces, smaller with complex shapes. For very young children, the first choice in the shop below is for a 12-piece puzzle. What I love about a beginners puzzle like the one in the shop below is that it's got the picture imprinted on the tray to make it easier to match the pieces. My son, Aidan, is nearly 5, but he still loves to put together his wooden 12-piece puzzle. Once children master the 12-piece puzzles, they can then go on to the 24-piece Disney Pixar Cars puzzles, usually set for ages 3-7. A popular trend I've noticed is the extra-large puzzles. They have nice big pieces and are poster-sized once finished, usually 24 x 36 inches. Kids love these super-sized puzzles and it is a thrill to see their finished work spread across the floor. I think that's what I'll get for Aidan next. Some puzzles these days do cool things like glow in the dark or are magnetized to stick to your refigerator. I can just imagine the anticipation of finishing the glow in the dark puzzle so you can turn the light off and oooh and aaah at the glowing Lightning McQueen. Magnetized puzzles are great for moms who need to keep their little one busy by the fridge while she writes out her grocery list or has an uninterrupted phone conversation!
