Cars is One of Pixar's Best

Pixar creates the best animated films for all ages. Cars is one of their best productions. I really enjoy the scene where Lightning McQueen travels to California with Mack, his big rig. I loved seeing our great nation, in animated form, as Mack made his way to the west.

The song tied into the scene, Life is a Highway, was a great choice. I got goosebumps at the sight of America's beauty, one which I hope to see myself personally. I would like to experience the same thing, along with the same track playing in the background.

The character I would say made this movie memorable is the main character Lightning Mcqueen. He wasn't a very likable character, in my opinion, with his big ego. Embarrassed by his sponsors, Rust-Eze, he's desperate to win the big race in order to sign on with big dog Dinoco.

However, being stranded at Radiator Springs along Route 66, helped him see what he has truly become. When he finally makes it to California for the big race, he is applauded as he assists The King, one of his competitors, finish the race. He is then offered sponsorship by Dinoco, however, he decides to stay with Rust-Eze, the company that has taken him to the top.

I can't wait for next summer when Cars 2 will be released in theaters!
