Dash Runs Through the Jungle

This is a very exciting scene in The Incredibles. Violet and Dash have been discovered as intruders on Nomanisan Island while their mother is infiltrating the base. Before she leaves them, she reminds them to use their super powers and do the very best that they can.

As they are surrounded by security goons, Violet reminds Dash of what their mother told them - to RUN! So he takes off as Violet turns invisible.

One funny part in this scene is that he runs into a swarm of bugs that get into his mouth and spatter on his face. EWW!

Dash has several close calls with falling, once when he grabs a vine that swings him waaay too far upward and he flies through the air only to land on a Velocipod. It is here that he finds he can punch a guy out super fast too.

The other fall is when he is knocked off that Velocipod just before it crashes into a cliff, exploding. Dash grabs onto a jungle vine and stops himself just before he gets to the ground.

Dash is so excited that he's alive and a new found sense of self confidence emerges as he discovers the extent of his powers. He finds he can even run on top of water!
